Well, well, well. Mommy and Daddy finally thought it was time for me to get a haircut. I know Mommy likes the long-hair look, but Daddy said it was just too long; hanging in my eyes and sticking out over my ears. So on Saturday, 8/18, Mommy and Daddy took me to "Lollipop Cuts for Kidz" and I got my first haircut.
It was soooo cooool. They have a play room upstairs, cool cars to sit in for haircuts, and I even got a lollipop after my haircut, because I was soooo good.
Check it out, here!

I'm Tired
Boy oh boy. This going back to school thing sure makes a little guy tired. Especially after being sick, having HFMD, a diaper rash, and the poop-n-toots. Sure, I play hard all day, but when I get home... I sleep.
So, there really isn't much to write about today, other than the Cubs are winning!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Still sick, but getting better.
Well, I'm still sick. The blisters on my feet and hands showed up and it hurts to eat. So I'm a little cranky. I think I am over my cold for the most part, other that the coughing (mommy and daddy think I am just copying Grandma Ni and Grandpa Jim.). I have been eating more, but now I've got the toots and poops. In fact, I blew out a diaper today. Wooo-man that was a rough one. And talk about a smell. Good-Night!
Even though I'm not feeling well, mommy and daddy have been trying to make me feel as best I can. They have been playing with me taking me for walks. In fact today, I was sitting outside on my little ride-n-walk fire engine. I sat on it, while daddy cleaned out the garage. I wasn't quite sure what to do, but I had a lot of fun hanging out in the garage.
Daddy gave me a big empty box to play with too. Once I learned I could crawl in and out of it, boy did I have fun. It was my "Baby Cave". No body could come in, unless I granted them permission. Then I found out that I could crawl on top of it and bounce up and down!!! This made mommy nervous, so she came and played with me. We had a lot of fun. I even saw mommy sitting on the ceiling. I stood up, leaned over and looked between my legs, and there she was, sitting upside down, on the ceiling. I giggled and bounced some more.
Oh, I almost forgot. I learned now to talk on the phone this weekend. Now when I pick up a phone, TV remote, or even a building block, I can hold up to my head like a phone and say, "ehh-ooo?" So call me sometime... Let's talk.

I'm sick... :-(
Now that I am finally back home; in my own bed, back at school with my friends, and riding in my own carseat... I get sick.
In fact, I went to the doctor and he told mommy that I have a cold AND that I have Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. Yikes!!! What's that. It sounds serious!!! Am I going to end up like one of those cows? No.
According to the CDC: Hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) is a common illness of infants and children. It is characterized by fever, sores in the mouth, and a rash with blisters. HFMD begins with a mild fever, poor appetite, malaise ("feeling sick"), and frequently a sore throat. One or 2 days after the fever begins, sores develop in the mouth. They begin as small red spots that blister and then often become ulcers. They are usually located on the tongue, gums, and inside of the cheeks. The skin rash develops over 1 to 2 days with flat or raised red spots, some with blisters. The rash does not itch, and it is usually located on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet.
Unfortunately there is no specific treatment for me, so mommy and daddy just need to be patient. In the mean time, mommy and me are hanging out at home this week, until I get all better. Yeah!!! Mommy time!!!

I'm home!!!
Well, Mommy and Daddy are finally back from vacation. While I missed them, I sure had fun with my Grandmas and Grandpas in Illinois.
At Grandma Na and Grandpa Jake's, I got to ride Grandpa Jake's tractor, go out to dinner, go for walks up and down the road with Grandma Na. Grandma Na even took me to Aunt Ronnie's house to go swimming with my cousins Garrett, Ethan, and Colleen. I had a lot of fun and got to stay up past my curfew and got home at 10:00 PM
At Grandma Ni and Grandpa Jim's I got to go for walks again, crawl up and down the hall, and talk to a lot of people. Grandma Ne even took me over to Aunt B's and Uncle Jim's new house. I got to play with my cousins Mo and Tessa all day. That was fun.
I think my mommy and daddy are going to post a lot of picuters of my 1 year birthday party, but here are a few of the funny ones from my birthday dinner.
